Do you live in the Palomar Community College District?

If so, read this.

An estimated 110,000 registered voters will see the Palomar Community College District (PCCD) Trustee Area 4 contest on their ballot for the Nov. 8 General Election.

Only those who live in Trustee Area 4 under the district boundaries prior to 2022 redistricting can vote to fill the seat for the remainder of the current four-year term ending Dec. 13, 2024. The Trustee Area 4 district boundaries prior to redistricting cover the City of Poway, northeast portions of the City of San Diego, and unincorporated communities including but not limited to Barona, Borrego Springs, Julian, Pala, Rainbow, Ramona, and Valley Center.

Approximately 23,000 of these voters will have two Trustee Area contests on their ballot. One is to fill the seat in Trustee Area 4 for the remainder of the current term, and a second Trustee Area contest to fill the new term beginning in Dec. of this year.

The contests for Trustee Areas 1 and 5 will fill the new four-year terms and only voters residing in these areas under the 2022 district boundaries will vote to fill these seats.

District boundaries were changed following the 2020 Census, so you may now reside in a different district.
